TracePlay Tags

Each athlete wears a small light weight ID tag.

TracePlay Sensors

The playing area (rink, field, court etc...) is surrounded by TracePlay sensors.  These sensors determine the exact location of each TracePlay tag (within inches over 14 times per second).

TracePlay Server

TracePlay Server contains the core TracePlay services that collect and record the data from the sensors.  The server is also responsible for generating advanced statistics and reporting.

TracePlay Analyzer

TracePlay Analyzer is the main user interface which provides everything from athlete replay to detailed athlete analysis and reporting. In addition to tracking and recording athlete movement, the TracePlay system will also track the position of the athlete in relation to other athletes, objects, or zones.  The result is an athlete intelligence system that can solve many unanswered questions.

• How long were they on the field/ice/court?
• How long were they in a specific area (scoring zone)?
• How many times were they in that zone?
• How fast were they traveling in that zone?
• Where there any collisions with other athletes (or objects)?
• Where were they in relation to other players?
• How many times did they reach their peak speed during the game?
• ... and much more
