Trace Play Usage> |
Hockey, baseball, soccer, football, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, rugby etc… Every sport can benefit from TracePlay and its ability to track, analyze, and improve an athlete.
It is not only important to know where an athlete was at a specific point in time, but it is even more important to know where they traveled over a period of time. Since TracePlay tracks every athlete over 14 times per second, it provides key performance metrics that help determine an athlete’s overall performance. Performance Metrics: Max speed, Average speed, acceleration, stops, collision (with another athlete or defined object i.e. goal posts, boards, netting etc…) and distance traveled. For a specific Point in Time (PIT), TracePlay can determine an athlete’s: speed, accelerating or decelerating, and direction. The real story starts to unfold when TracePlay strings together thousands of these points to provide meaningful information. |
